I bought the HarborSteel File Set 8pc after getting sick of cheaper gear slowing down cabinet work. First proper run was a full Saturday and it held up better than expected. The type Engineer's Files and files setup stood out straight away, and the comfortable grip makes it feel more expensive than it is. As a tradie, I notice little things like balance, finish and whether it packs away cleanly; this one gets those basics right. Delivery to Frankston VIC was quick too.
Bought for cabinet work; kept using it because it just works. Happy with the HarborSteel File Set 8pc.

HarborSteel File Set 8pc feels solid straight out of the box — the case Canvas Roll and engineer setup is a nice touch.
I run a small workshop and the HarborSteel File Set 8pc has already earned its spot. We used it across maintenance calls and some messy end-of-day clean-up work. The no obvious flex is the main win, but I also like that the cut Second Cut and set setup lines up with what Tool Harbor advertised. Feels like a real trade purchase, not a gimmick.
