Please choose carefully. Refunds are not normally provided for change of mind purchases. Customers may be eligible for a refund, exchange or replacement where products are faulty, incorrectly described, different from what was ordered, or do not perform as advertised.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Conditions for refunds
- The product is faulty, damaged on arrival or significantly different from its description.
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided.
- The return is initiated within 30 days of delivery.
- The product is returned in its original packaging where possible.
Change of mind
Change-of-mind returns may be accepted at our discretion within 30 days, provided the item is unused, unopened and in its original packaging. Shipping fees are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns and a restocking fee may apply.
Return process
- Email hello@toolharbor.com.au with your order number and a short description of the issue (photos help).
- Our team will respond within 1 business day with a return authorisation and instructions.
- Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided.
- Once received and inspected, your refund or replacement is processed within 5 business days.
Warranty claims
Power tools sold by The Tool Harbor carry a manufacturer warranty (typically 5 years on tools, 2 years on batteries). Warranty claims follow the same process above.
Refund method
Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method in AUD. Card refunds typically appear within 3–10 business days depending on your bank.
