We've had the ProForge Cordless Drill X20 in rotation for a few weeks now. It has been used for shed fit-outs, a couple of rushed call-outs and the usual rough handling in the ute. Nothing feels loose, the smooth clutch is noticeable, and the speed 0–2,200 RPM and brushless setup is genuinely useful rather than brochure fluff. Not perfect showroom gear, just a practical bit of kit that does the job.
The ProForge Cordless Drill X20 is a solid drill and feels honest. I took one star off because case latches feel light; otherwise the metal chuck makes it easy to recommend.
I bought the ProForge Cordless Drill X20 after getting sick of cheaper gear slowing down deck framing. First proper run was a full Saturday and it held up better than expected. The speed 0–2,200 RPM and brushless setup stood out straight away, and the battery runtime makes it feel more expensive than it is. As a DIY buyer, I notice little things like balance, finish and whether it packs away cleanly; this one gets those basics right. Delivery to Tweed Heads NSW was quick too.
