Bought for pilot holes in hardwood; kept using it because it just works. Happy with the ProForge Drill Press 13".

We've had the ProForge Drill Press 13" in rotation for a few weeks now. It has been used for hanging doors, a couple of rushed call-outs and the usual rough handling in the ute. Nothing feels loose, the battery runtime is noticeable, and the laser Cross-Hair and bench setup is genuinely useful rather than brochure fluff. Not perfect showroom gear, just a practical bit of kit that does the job.

Picked up the ProForge Drill Press 13" for my shed and ended up taking it onto a paid job the next day. For hanging doors, it saved a fair bit of time and felt predictable the whole way through. The drill design suits Australian site work — not too fancy, not flimsy, and easy enough for the apprentice to use without babying it. I'd buy it again.
