UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw

Good mitre saw. Used the UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw around Adelaide SA for picture frames and it did exactly what I bought it for.

No fuss, no dramas. The accurate detents makes the UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw easy to keep in the ute.

I bought the UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw after getting sick of cheaper gear slowing down shop fit-out work. First proper run was a full Saturday and it held up better than expected. The rpm 5,000 and mitre saw setup stood out straight away, and the bright cut line makes it feel more expensive than it is. As a tradie, I notice little things like balance, finish and whether it packs away cleanly; this one gets those basics right. Delivery to Darwin NT was quick too.

UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw handled shop fit-out work nicely. Solid fence is better than expected for the money.

Four stars for the UltraCut Sliding Compound Saw. Performance is there, especially for shop fit-out work, but factory calibration needed a nudge. Still decent buying for the price.
